Configuring feedback workflow
The feedback workflow defines the main lifecycle of the feedback. You can have a different workflow for each project.
You can configure your feedback workflow to better align with how your team manages feedback. To configure your feedback workflow go to Project Settings > Workflow page. The default workflow works for most use cases, but you can customize it according to your needs.
Feedbacks can move between statuses without any restrictions. The order is meant to represent the optimal flow. Your project's feedback workflow has three types of statuses:
- Default Status: This is the status assigned when new feedback is created. There can only be one default status. You can rename or change the color of this status.
- Active Statuses: These represent feedback that is active, being worked on, queued, or planned for future work. You can have multiple active statuses.
- Done Statuses: These represent when work on feedback is complete. You can have multiple done statuses to represent different end-of-life stages for feedback, such as 'Done,' 'Cannot Reproduce,' 'Duplicate,' 'No Work Needed,' etc.
You can reorder workflow statuses by dragging and dropping them into the preferred position. Remember, there can only be one default status, so it cannot be moved or deleted, only renamed or recolored.
You can also add new statuses. To add a new status, click Add New Status, and a new status will appear. Enter a name for the status and reorder it by dragging and dropping.
To delete a status press ... button on the side of a status to open context menu and press Delete.
After you finish modifying your workflow, remember to press Save to apply the changes.
